- Theseus decides he is going to be the first sacrifice
- "When it is time to send the next tribute, I will go as one of them and I vow that it is the last time the Minotaur will be fed with the flesh of any of our people.”
- "My son, if you are successful, take down these black sails and replace them with white ones. That way will know you are coming home safe to me.”
- So handsome!
- Ariadne fall in love with Theseus
- “Those are brave words for one so young, but the Minotaur will soon have you between its horns."
- “I will go first. I am Theseus, Prince of Athens and I do not fear what is within the walls of your maze.”
- Theseus kills the minotaur
- This scene takes place from paragraph five to paragraph ten,when theseus finds out why his dad the king Aegeos sends 6 young women and 6 young men and never come back, so he decides that he is going to put a stop to this to prevent more of his people dying because of king Minus's cruelty, by putting himself to be the first one to face the minotaur and kill him.
- Theseus takes Ariadne with him
- “I cannot believe how my life has changed,to think that I am free of my cruel father and that I will soon be married to a great prince!”
- We get to see royalty getting married!
- This scene takes place in paragraph sixteen to paragraph eighteen, when standing behind king Minus Ariadne saw theseus and immediately fell in love with him and decided to help him without her father knowing, so that he could survive and marry her later on.
- Theseus abandons Ariadne
- This scene happens from paragraph nineteen to paragraph twentythree when theseus finds the minotaur and uses his strength that he didn't know he had before to kill the minotaur and realize that his life was over since he had let go of the string but then found his way to get out of the maze.
- King Aegeus kill himself
- “My son has failed and he is dead!"
- This scene takes place from paragraph twentysix to paragraph twenty eight, when Ariadne cries out to Theseus to take her with him after what she had done that would get her killed, so Theseus took her with him since he thought it wouldn't be fair to leave her behind since she helped him escape the maze, she loved Theseus so much that she thought she would get married with him.
- Married!
- This scene happens in paragraph twenty nine when they were sailing and Theseus asked her to find brad and fruit as soon as she new it he had abandoned her and she had no longer a way to get out of this island.
- Wait for me!!!
- This scene happens in paragraph 33 when Theseus forgets to change the white sails to the black sails so his father thinks he is dead and jumps into the waters below, which according to this ancient Greece myth is the reason why it is called there the "Aegean Sea".
