- King Minos and his wife Queen Pasiphae gave birth to a half-man and half-bull, although King Minos despised the baby he didn't want to kill he locked it up in the labyrinth for three years.
- King Minos' solution was to lock the Minotaur in a labyrinth underneath his village. this labyrinth was very difficult to find and to escape.
- Ariadne saw an Athenian ship and said to the leader, "If you agree to leave with me I will help you defeat the Minotaur." Theseus was astounded."meet me at the entrance of the labyrinth." she whispered.
- A man named Theseus went to Crete to stop the people from being thrown to the Minotaur. he was going to slay the Minotaur and save his people.Many people tried to change his mind.
