During recess I walk in a daze
Discovering what looked like a cave.
I grow suspicious and open the door
There is a whole new world to explore
As I look around everyone looked different, it was a new world and it was magnificent
I walked around speechless by everything in sight
There was something about this world, something bright
As I traveled for what felt like hours, I knew it was time to return
So I put my foot down and I took a turn
As I walked back I was stopped
I jumped so hard everything I had dropped
Are you new around here?
I was asked
Something like that
The truth I masked
Well you're beautiful might I add
Oh stop it, I wish
I never got her name. I hope to meet her again
I continue to stride out with my new found confidence
