- Old Major is dead, all the animals are very sad, but are set on revoluting against Jones. Old Major represents Lenin and the fact thgat they both died and provoked SNowball(Trotky) and Napoleon(Stalin) to both startv running for leader and earning the peoples favour.
- The animals revolut against Jones(Tsar Nicolas), who is an acholic and doesn't treat them with consideration, kindess or respect. They succeed and chase him off of the farm.
- Snowball and Napoleon call for a meeting in which they write down the rules of renamed animal farm. These rules include everything an animal should follow and Snowball starts teaching them to read, write and talk.
- Snowball presents his plans for the windmill, Napoleon is not happy and calls for his dogs, to chase Snowball off of animal farm, he is then not allowed back and was sent into exile, like Trotsky and wasn't later killed, but probably died.
- The other farmers saw the windmill and started to revolt and try and take animal farm for themselves, while they did this Jones blew up the windmill. In the fight Boxer got shot in the leg, this caused him to not be able to work and Napoleon sent him away to go be killed.
- Finally the windmill was complete, but the pigs were caught drinking and sleeping in beds and wearing human clothes, things they weren't meant to do, this caused the other animals to revolt. They also wrote, where the rules previously were that Some animals were equal, but tohers were more equal.
