For her, living in a black community and going to a mostly white school brings up many problems.

(12.184-185)"The quote above from chapter 12 represents the police brutality khalil and Starr faced. The fact that Khalil died from touching his hairbrush is unreasonable and unfair. I believe that Starr will get justice for Khalil.
