- It was a very cold winter and it was getting harder to re-build the windmill. In January they fell short with food. They blamed the windmill on snowball. Napoleon makes everyone work harder and cuts their food shorter, and he contracts to sell 400 eggs a week. The hens rebel, nine hens died before they had to agree before anymore died. Everyone think snowball is visiting the farm at night and doing bad things.

- The pigs have changed another one of the commandments. The animals think they just forgot the last two words. The Pigs have started to kill some animals for no actual reason.
- Boxer had died. Napoleon sold him to a glue factory. Squealer tells everyone he died in the hospital. This was one of the worst decisions Napoleon made because boxer was the hardest worker and did not deserve to die. Napoleon also becomes president, and food becomes more scarce.
- It has been years later and more animals have died. All of the rules had been changed. The pigs and humans now have no difference. The pigs change Animal farm back to Manor farm. The animals no longer address each other as comerade.
