You don't need to stress yourself about this. Blaming yourself is the last thing you want to do. I know you feel bad about the plane crash but it was never your fault. If this keeps troubling you, go see a therapist.
Most often, PTSD causes the victim to feel severely anxious and constantly dealing with a sense of hopelessness. It is an arduous journey to overcome PTSD

The best way to cope with a mental health issue like PTSD is first to distract your mind. Other treatments can be as simple striking up a conversation with a family member, friend, or someone you trust.

If you still don't feel comfortable enough to speak out about the issue to a therapist, just call me and we can talk whenever you need. For now I believe that the best thing to do is to just distract you so lets go for a walk.
Not everyone is comfortable when talking to a doctor of any sort. That is why if a family member or friend is facing PTSD, the first thing that they need is support from someone they trust. When talking to someone with PTSD, it is best to give your opinion clearly and to let them voice their own opinion.

Even if someone is fine, it is best to continuously check on them to make sure they are truly fine. You can do this by calling them ever so often or catching up with the victim in person and talking with them because the worst thing that could happen to them is returning back to the state of hopelessness and loneliness.
