- Society was split into three classes with the the lower class being the poorest and having barely anything. The lower class were required to pay taxes to the monarchy while the other higher, more rich, classes didn't have to do so.
- Estates General Meeting/Tennis Court Oath
- The lower class was struggling a lot with the harsh cold winter, which led to a food shortage and people starving. The people hoped that the monarchy would help but they would spend on their likings than the people the were supposed to care for.
- Storming of the Bastille
- The time period of the Enlightenmnet influenced many other countries including the U.S and France. Lots of France's philosopher's ideas were based from the Enlightenment ideas.These ideas would then inspire the people for change and would justify the revolution.

- Parisian women march to the kings palace and portest abouttheir familys starving due to the food shortages and rising prices. They force the King and the royal family to move back Paris as their "Prisoners".
