- Well for me, I haven't done it yet.
- Furthermore, I am a daily consumer who requires to buy necessities such as food, water, and etc. Having these kinds of transactions in a daily basis promotes the circulation of goods within the economy.
- Hello sir! Can I take a kilo of your carrots?
- Thanks a lot!
- Of course sir! That would be 25 pesos.
- Of course, even as a student, I am not exempted from taxes. From the products and services that I avail, some have their prices modified so that a small amount would go to tax.
- Is that so? Thanks!
- Hey ma'am! What is this VAT that I see in my receipt?
- Oh, it's the Value-Added Tax imposed by our government.
- Also, I am thinking of taking a venture of trying out various businesses. Although it can be quite risky, I can gain first-hand experiences from it, bringing me valuable lessons that may turn out to be helpful in my future as an entrepreneur.
- Finally, I contribute to the socio-economic development by being a moral and virtuous member of the society, hoping to encourage those who are around me to turn to a life of righteousness. Having a community full of people like this will certainly achieve a sustainable socio-economic development where peace and justice prevails and the economy is thriving.
