- Hey There! I am Alfred the rock! Today I'm about to experience major changes as I go through the rock cycle
- Whoo! I got repositioned and mangled from a hurricane! I just went through weathering and erosion! I've now been broken down into tiny pieces of rocks and minerals called sediments! Please put me back together!
- FInally I was slowly compacted with pieces of small rocks, shells, and mud forming into a new rock called a Sedimentary rock!
- It was really hot down there! I've been in that volcano for a really long time and I've finally bursted out as melted magma. I'm quickly cooling and forming an Igneous rock.
- I am towards the end of my journey. I am about to become the last rock in the rock cycle called a Metamorphic rock. I now have to sit deep underneath ground waiting to be melted a little bit
- To finally become a metamorphic rock I have to go through compaction and pressure. The heat and pressure all around me will flatten me and morph me into a brand new rock! I've finally completed the Rock cycle! It's time to start all over! See you next time!
