- Katelyn I can go and teach you at the park?
- It was March 1st 2013, it was my birthday and I couldn't wait to go downstairs to find my present. I was wearing a pink shirt and my favorite leggings while my hair was wrapped up into a ponytail. When I got down the stairs I yelled aloud "Its my birthday!!!".
- Arriving at the Park
- I saw my present sitting in the living room as soon as I turned in the room. I saw my parents standing next to it and ran towards my new bike with a face full of joy. I had been asking for a new bike for the longest time and I finally received it today.
- Trying but not succeeding
- You got this Katelyn, just keep trying!
- I was so excited about my bike, I didn't even think about the fact that it didn't have any training wheels and I had never learned to ride a bike. My dad then offered to take ma and teach me how to ride.
- Finally getting it
- Good job Katelyn!!
- My dad and I went to the park and he got my bike out of the back. He then told me it is probably smarter to go to the basketball quarts because it would be smoother than the pavement and I would have more room.
- My dad showed me what to do and I tried but I fell over time after time. I felt as if I would never be able to learn how to ride it. My dad told me to keep trying no matter what but it was tough to keep persevering.
- I cant do it.
- After almost giving up, I decided I would try one last time and I finally got up and stayed up. I learned a lesson this day to keep trying no matter how impossible it may seem, because the ending product is worth all the hard work.
- YAY! I got it dad!!
