- Of all the islands along Australia’s East Coast, the Whitsundays is by far the most visited. The Whitsundays consist of 74 islands, of which the largest, Whitsunday, is home to the world-famous Whitehaven Beach. Whitehaven Beach is so clean that you can brush your teeth on it!

This island is home to the rare Australian mammal known as the quokka. There are many of beaches, an excellent reef, and excellent swimming conditions on Rottnest Island.
