- In this adventure, Odysseus sails to the coastline of the Lotus flower, where he meets the Lotus Eaters. They hinder his journey by giving three of his men the drugged plants, making the men wail as Odysseus forces them back onto the ship to move on.
- The Sirens
- In this adventure, Odysseus sails to a mainland where he meets a Cyclops. It hinders his journey by trapping him and his men in a cave for a few days. The Cyclops eats six of Odysseus’s men, but the rest escape by blinding the Cyclops.

- In this adventure, Odysseus and his men travel to the underworld after sacrificing a black lamb, causing phantoms to appear. Elpenor, a phantom, tells Odysseus that he will return home without any men and find trouble at home.

- In this adventure, Odysseus's men tie him to the ship's mast and get beeswax stuffed into their ears so they don't fall under any siren's trance. After the sirens leave, Odysseus is freed.
