- This is Chernobyl's#160; power plant! It is one of the most advance in the world with 4 reactors. It uses 10% of Ukraines power.
- On April 26, 1986 the plant technicians prepared to run a routine safety check.#160;
- Though the technicians made the reactor way too hot.#160;The reactor started to melt and exploded at 1:23am!
- 8 tonnes of radioactive debris was thrown into the air. How crazy is that!
- 115,000 people were evacuated from the city and it took#160; over 15#160; days to put out the fires.
- Now, a concrete sarcophagus was built around the whole reactor to stop radiation from leaking!
