- At a party hosted by King Polydectes, Perseus could not thought of a fitting tribute for the king, so he decided to bring the head of the Gorgon Medusa to him. Polydectes exploited the offer to get rid of Perseus and accepted.
- On his way, Perseus encountered Athena and Hermes who aided him in his journey and gave him different items of high value such as the winged sandals and the shiny shield.
- When Perseus got into the lair of Medusa, he used the shiny shield's reflection to see where she is without looking directly at her and killed her.
- On his way back home, he saw a girl being sacrificed to a sea monster and saved her, he later married that girl.
- When Perseus got back home, he found out all about Polydectes's scheme and what he did to Danae. Perseus then turned him into stone.
- After the completion of his journey, Perseus finally rest and settled down, he crowned his adoptive father as king of Serephus and accidentally killed his grandfather while participating in a game. but after those, they all lived happily ever after.
