- Hi ! I, the sun, am in charge of providing energy to the nearby plant.
- Hello, my name is the producer, the plant. I produce food via photosynthesis. I am aware that you find me attractive, but beauty ultimately wears off.
- HI ! The primary consumer is me, Bunny. I eat only plants. To maintain the energy cycle, I must consume the producer next to me.
- The secondary consumer, Cobra, is who I am. I eat animal flesh. The energy cycle needs to continue because it can never run on its own, hence the bunny here must make a sacrifice.
- You believed you were more powerful than I did, Cobra? The tertiary consumer, Eagle, here. Undoubtedly, I am a carnivore. This is a fight for survival. Cobra must make a sacrifice.
- Hi ! I am Coyote, a scavenger. I eat both vegetables and dead animals. Over there, I see Eagle battling Cobra. I'm hoping there's still in Cobra, or maybe I should wait for Eagle to pass away. To get things done, I need energy!
- Many hours later...
- Hello ! I am a decomposer, a worm. I consume the carcass of a deceased animal to replenish its energy through the ground. I am required to keep the energy cycle going. You are aware that animals must give their lives in order for humans to have energy. Such is life. And yet, death is inevitable. No one is immortal.
