  • The End! And that's the short story of the constellation Virgo. But now, if you're looking to find Virgo in the sky, first locate The Big Dipper and follow its curved handle downwards. The first bright star you will come across is called Arcturus, but if you proceed downwards, you will eventually find Spica - which is the brightest known star in Virgo's constellation.
  • Here's a fun fact for you kids. Some of you may actually be a Virgo! But only if your birthday is on a certain day. Who here has a birthday between August 23rd and September 22nd?
  • That's AWESOME! Each and every one of you have your own zodiac sign, and you Virgo's are called Virgin's. The word "Virgin" originates from the Latin meaning "unwed girl maiden" or "unwed woman." And this is why the constellation Virgo is drawn as an unmarried woman.
  • AWESOME!!!
  • Another fun fact for you kids before I head out: The main star found in Virgo's constellation, Spica, means "ear of wheat." Similar to an ear of corn, meaning one, an ear of wheat is a singular strand of wheat. This is why Virgo is known to be holding a strand of wheat.
  • Alright! That's all for me today! Any questions?
  • *all heads shake*
  • Sounds good! Thank you so much for having me! You all have a good one and I'll see you moon!
