Texte du Storyboard

  • Many short necked giraffes used to live on the African savanna. They could receive food from bushes, and lived long enough to reproduce.
  • One giraffe was born with a gene of having a long neck, and ate from trees instead of bushes.
  • Since the population of short necked giraffes increased, the amount of bushes decreased, as this was their main source of food.
  • All the bushes began to quickly vanish, as too many short necked giraffes consumed these bushes, leaving less short necked giraffes to survive.
  • The tall necked giraffe reproduced with one of the few short necked giraffes.
  • The tall necked gene from the father carried onto their offspring, causing them to also have the gene of the tall neck. Since then, the population of tall necked giraffes had increased, as this gene has been passed down generations.Since more giraffes are beginning to have a longer neck, they have been consuming from trees, rather than bushes.
