- Hello ! I am a white wolf, also known as an Artic wolf. I will be helping you understand Darwin theory of evolution by the natural selection of an artic wolf.
- Habitat: Artic wolves living their whole lives above the northern tree line in the Artic tundra.
- We have survive in some of the coldest places on earth!
- Variation: Wolves show variation through appearance. Some can be grey. While some can be white. Whereas some can also be black or mix of grey and black.

- Adaptation: Artic wolves have small ears to reduce their surface area to volume ratio. Artic wolves also utilize their thick white fur to camouflage themselves with their surrounding. Having thick body fat which for insulation and food storage to survive the winter when food supply may be intermittent.
- Natural selection: White fur allows artic wolves to blend in with snowy surroundings, which will be an advantage for artic wolves to hide and catch their preys, like caribous.

- We thought to have evolved from a lineage of of other canids about 50 million years ago. We believed that we were isolated in very cold habitats during the Ice Age.
- It was during that time that we developed the adaptations necessary to survive in extremely cold of the Artic.
