God's People Enslave in Egypt

- He forced them to work all day and treated them very badly.
- A new pharaoh had taken the throne of Egypt, but this pharaoh was not kind. He made god's people (Israelites) into his slaves.
- He ordered to kill the new born baby boy, but Shiprah and Puah cannot do it because they are one of the Hebrews,.
- Over time,the number of Israelites enslaved in Egypt grew and grew.
- Until eventually, their number became large enough that the pharaoh started to have second thoughts.
- and so the Pharaoh order that baby boys born in Israelites must thrown out of the river.
- The Israelites were hearthbroken as their beloved children were taken away from them.
- They could not believe that the cruelty of the pharaoh had come this far.
- One day an Israelite woman decided to hide her baby , however as time went on she realized that this plan could not last forever.
- She decided to fix her baby's basket to make sure no water could enter it. She took her precious baby inside the basket and secretly took him to the river.
- She ordered to fetch the baby in the basket. She knew that the baby is one of the Israelite boys because of circumcision.
- As the baby drifted down the river, his older sister followed his basket.
- As the baby drifted down the river, the daughter of the pharaoh is getting ready to take a bath in the river. She spotted something floating down the river.
- She decided to save his life and adopt him as her own son.
- The princess brought a nurse for her newly adopted son,luckily the woman they selected was the baby's true mother.
- The princess named him Moses and she declared it to all of Egypt. Moses is a Hebrew language meaning "drawn out of the water".
- Eventually, little baby Moses would grow up to be an important prophet and bring the word of God to his people.
