- Lou and her friend finds a lady painting on her traditional wall

- Lou and the narrator finds a lady painting on the traditional wall
- We have so many different memories with this wall so quit painting on it
- Hurry up before we are late for school
- The painter lady arrived to the narrators mom's restaurant and asks for food after lying to the kids
- After coming from school they see that the painter lady is still there and there is white on the wall
- When Lou and the narrator walks out of school, they see that the painter lady is still painting on the wall and this time white strips are on it
- Hey, look over there
- The kids tried to bribe the lady with food to stop her from painting the wall
- No thanks I have dinner of my own
- Want some food?
- ugh
- I'm starving
- Any non meat food
- Around here you eat what I give you
- At the end when the narrator and Lou tried to sabotage the painter lady they found out that she was related to Jimmy Lyon who died. The painter lady painted different pictures of black history activist and named it the "WALL OF RESPECT". The narrator and the rest of the kids started to respect the lady and felt guilty for judging her.
