- Cell Cycle and Checkpoints Story
- Life is so hard! I wish I could just be a cell who's nothing to do and worry about.
- What happened? Did I really turn into a cell?
- G1 Phase & G1 Checkpoint
- Oh! I am in the G1 Phase. My growth is undeniably visible.
- G1 PHASE
- Is this some kind of checkpoint for G1? I think it is for the size and nutrient verification. I'm nervous. I hope I could pass this.
- G1 PHASE CHECKPOINT
- S Phase
- I think I'm in the next phase which is called the S phase. Cool! My DNA is synthetizing.
- S PHASE
- He turns into a cell just like he wishes.
- G2 Phase & G2 Checkpoint
- G2 PHASE
- There's also a checkpoint here for G2. They're trying to check my DNA quality and if it successfully replicates.
- In G1 Phase, the cell grows in size and increases the production of mRNA, protein, and cell organelles in order to prepare for later stages.
- M Phase & M Checkpoint
- M PHASE
- There's an M checkpoint for nuclear division setup check
- In S Phase, the mRNA and protein production is lowered and the cell focuses on replicating all of its DNA, creating one copy of each chromosome.
- THE END
- The guy returns on being a human and realize that cells also undergo some phases to gain self-growth, just like how humans struggles in life to gain self-growth as a person.EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON.EVERYTHING HAS A PURPOSE.
- The cell continues to grow and synthesize proteins and organelles necessary for the last phase.
- OMG! I'm in G2 Phase and I think they're preparing me for something cool.
- G2 PHASE CHECKPOINT
- It splits the cell membrane and cytoplasm into two equal parts, dividing the DNA and cell organelles between them. Two genetically identical daughter cells have been created.
- This is the last phase, I guess. I'm in M Phase. I'll undergo mitosis.
- M PHASE CHECKPOINT
