- Me, too! Guess what? I got a really awesome credit card offer in the mail.
- Oh?
- I get airline miles for every $1 I spend, plus bonus miles for opening a new account! Isn't that great!
- You've opened three other credit cards recently. With this one, your credit score will go down.
- I don't think that's a good idea.
- Why not?
- Each time you apply for a credit card, your score goes down.
- Opening too many accounts over a short period of time says you might not be using credit wisely.
