  • cookies are not the best choice, 11g is actually a lot when it comes to sugar. Food companies just hide the percentage so you can not notice that. Cookies also have little to none nutritional value
  • can we get cookies, they only have 11g of sugar
  • Yes fruit has sugar, but those sugars are natural sugars. Fruit is also full of fiber which helps you feel full long, and is packed with vitamins
  • but why should we get fruit, that has sugar too?
  • Our goal today is to only pick out foods that are healthy.
  • when shopping for grains always buy wholegrains because it lowers you risk of heart disease and stroke
  • Junk food is okay to have sometimes, but it is not a very good choice to eat it all the time. Cookies do contain some protein, but the other factors take more consideration of if it is really worth it.
  • I'm thirsty can I get a soda... oh wait nevermind... It is full of sugar and no fiber. I think I remember my teacher saying that your liver would immediately turn that into fat
  • Yes, good job you learn so fast! Lets get waters instead.
  • Even though fruit is a good nutritional choice, you should still not eat too much. Too much of anything is not good for you.
  • All grains are generally high in fiber anyway, so white bread is still good for you, but wholegrains are better.
  • Water is very hydrating and it is one of the 6 necessary nutrients. Water is a much better choice than soda.
  • Today the girl and her mother made healthy food choices!
