- Eckels goes to Time Safari Inc to go back into the past and shoot a dinosaur. He is greeted by Travis who will be his guide on the safari.
- Climax
- In the time machine, Travis explains what to do and teaches Eckels about the butterfly effect. Travis makes it crucial that the smallest change to the past can have a lasting effect on the future.
- Falling Action

- When the arrive group arrive the start walking through the jungle. they are walking through the forest and they hear the sound of the dinosaur.
- Resolution

- The group is taking on the dinosaur and eckel realizes he cant do this. Travis tells him to run back to the time machine and wait there. The rest of the people kill the dinosaur without Eckels
- Eckels is the first to return to the time machine and waits for the group but didn't realize he step off the past and on a butterfly on the way back. The group arrives and the hea back to the present.
- In the modern world everything is different the language, presiden, and people. Travis notices the butterfly on Eckels shoe. Eckels begs for his life but Travis shoots Eckels.
