- שָׁבַ֕רְתִּי אֶת־עֹ֖ל מֶ֥לֶךְ בָּבֶֽלבְּע֣וֹד | שְׁנָתַ֣יִם יָמִ֗ים אֲנִ֚י מֵשִׁיב֙ אֶל־הַמָּק֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה אֶת־כָּל־כְּלֵ֖י בֵּ֣ית יְהֹוָ֑ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר לָקַ֜ח נְבֽוּכַדְנֶאצַּ֚ר מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶל֙ מִן־הַמָּק֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה
- Attention! I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon, and within 2 years i will bring back everything nebuchadnezzar took away
- The prophet whose word comes true will be known as the one Hashem has truly sent
- הַנָּבִ֔יא אֲשֶׁר־שְׁלָח֥וֹ יְהֹוָ֖ה בֶּֽאֱמֶֽת

- Just like I broke the yoke off the neck off nebuchadnezzar, so too i will break the yoke off the necks of all the nations
- Chanahya made this announcement to Yirmiyahu and the Kohanim and all the people.

- Yirmiyahu sent a letter to the exiled Jews in Bavel, he told them to build family's because in 70 years hashem will come to redeem them.
- His message breathed a new life into them, and encouraged them to do exactly what they knew they needed to do.
