- Karana is getting the canoe ready for leaving the island and joining the others.
- Ahhh! water........hole..boat
- Karana is upset for leaving her home(the island).
- Ugh! i can't see any island ....I am going back home!
- It is getting dark and Karana hasn't traveled far.
- I am so glad that I came back. I am not leaving again.
- There is a hole in the canoe and Karana is trying to keep the water out.
- Karana is annoyed as she is stranded in the middle of the sea and wishes to find an island soon. she realizes that the journey is very long and so heads back home.
- Karana is back home and wishes to stay here instead of going to all the others.
