- Beowulf dies
- King Hrothgar of Denmark builds a great mead hall so that his knights can drink and sing the night away.
- Grendel, a monster who lives near the mead hall, is angry that his lair is being disturbed. He goes tothe mead hall each night and murders knights whilethe king is asleep.
- Beowulf, a brave knight from Geatland, comes to help the Danes out by killing Grendel. After a vicious battle, Beowulf cuts off Grendel's arm. Grendelruns to his mother's underwater cave and dies.
- Grendel's mother seeks revenge by killing one of King Hrothgar's trusted advisors. Beowulf confronts her in her underwater lair, cuts her head off, and brings it to Hrothgar as a prize.
- Beowulf returns to Geatland, a hero. After King Hygelac dies without an heir, Beowulf becomes king. Things go pretty well...for a while.
- The Dragon was angry because someone stole some of the dragon's treasure, so Beowulf decided to slaythe dragon
- Beowulf kills the dragon, but not before the dragonbites Beowulf on the neck, injecting a poisonous venom into Beowulf.
- Beowulf asks his trusted aide, Wiglaf, to show him some of the treasure. Wiglaf brings a load of treasure and shows it to Beowulf. Beowulf then dies, andWiglaf takes Beowulf's body back to Geatland.
