The Stamp Act (1765)
The French and Indian War lasted about 9 years. The French and Indian War was also the first colonial war. The battle was fought out between the French and Great Britain, and indigenous people joining either side, for colonial domination in North America, India, and the Caribbean.
The Declaratory Act (1766)
The Treaty of Paris (1763) ended the French and Indian War/Seven Year's War between France and Great Britain. As a result of the treaty, France gave up all of their territories within North America. This ended any military foreign threat to the British troops in America.
The Townshend Acts (1767)
On March 22nd, 1765, the Stamp Act occurred when it was passed by the British Parliament. This act made it so the colonists had to pay a tax for the British troops on many printed materials during the Seven Years War. The documents and materials that were legal were represented and marked by a stamp.

In 1766, the Declaratory Act had repealed and lessened both the Stamp Act and the Sugar Act. Both tax acts were repealed by the British Parliament because the direct taxing revenue was making the colonists pay.
The Townshend Acts were originated by Charles Townshend in 1767 and were passed by the British Parliament. The acts were a series of measures that taxed goods imported to the American colonies. These goods included glass, lead, paper, paint, and tea amongst others.
