- An example would be the exterior walls of a restaurant
- Today were going to learn about analogies were gonna use the example of a restaurant
- A cell wall helps protect and support the cell
- Chloroplasts use the energy from sunlight to make food
- An example would be the chef that gets their materials to make the food
- The endoplasmic reticulum carries materials to various parts of the cell
- An example would be the door of a restaurant
- Oh! because the door opens and closes!
- The cell membrane lets things in and out of the cell
- Cytoplasm is the gel-like structure that holds the organelles in place
- An example would be gravity because without it, everyone in the restaurant would float around freely like if were in outerspace!
- An example would be the workers that carry food to the customers
- What's taking so long?!
- The golgi body receives proteins and fats from the E.R and modifies them
- Your order's ready, sir!
- An example would be the customers that receive food from the workers
- The mitochondria is the powerhouse where the process of respiration takes place
- Smells sooo good!
- An example would be the restaurant itself since all the food is created there
- An example would be the boss or manager of a restaurant that makes sure everything is running smoothly
- The nuclues directs all the activities in the cell and contains the DNA

- The vacuole stores food, water, and waste in a plant cell
- An example would be the commercial kitchen in a restaurant where food is stored
