- Freud's theory of ID-Ego-Super Ego. ID are self-serving, unconscious desires, Ego are conscious desires that balance with reality, Super Ego are moral, conscious desires. When my teacher gives me an extra point on a test that I did not earn, I will tell them as it is morally wrong for me to receive a higher score, demonstrating Super Ego.
- How Bandura Sees Me
- Everybody is going to notice the smiley face on my shirt.
- Adler defines roles in a family for oldest, middle, youngest, and only children. I am a middle child, so I am seen as a peace keeper and someone who is social. This is why I am breaking up the fight between my older brother and younger sister.
- How Costa and McCrae See Me
- Horney emphasized the importance of social interaction. She sees me on the right crying because I am not included in the conversation. This causes me to have withdrawal as I am physically moved away from others and I do not want to interact with them.
- How Jung Sees Me
- Bandura's Spotlight Effect causes me to think others will judge my shirt, but in reality no one cares as they are sleeping. I overestimate the amount of attention I will receive for my shirt.
- Extraversion is one of the 5 factors, and it tells if a person is assertive and energetic. In social situations, I am always talking with others and expressing myself, as I exemplify extraversion. In the picture, I am in the orange shirt waving my hands as I speak.
- Jung proposed Collective Unconscious and Archetypes, that universal symbols and images were shared across all cultures. The heart is a common depiction that many cultures associate with love.
