- Hello! I'm Ms. Broccy and I'm going to show you my journey through the digestive system. First, I enter the mouth, when you sense the yummy food, saliva glands starts pumping saliva out even before I reach your mouth! As you chew, the saliva mixes up with me to create soft lump of food called bolus
- the bolus travels own the tube like called the esophagus.the muscular walls squeeze the bolus down to our next destination, the stomach
- Once I enter the stomach, the stomach walls release acid the breaks down the bolus into a liquid chyme. 
- From there, I enter the small intestine. The liver sends bile to the gall bladder which holds it in until I arrive. tiny projections called villi absorb my molecules and the left over water, fiber and dead cells enter the large intestine.
- Once I am done, I move to the large intestine. it drains most of my fluids out through the intestinal walls this leaves a small mass called stool
- The large intestine deposits me in a small pouch where I am held until I leave the body through the anus. And my long journey through the digestive system takes up to 30-40 hours, finally ends
