- Tomorrow is Tet and the oldest person in the house will touch the floor first in the morning.
- (I will wake up early and I will touch the floor first).
- Nobody will know.
- This is Ha's family, she has her mom and three brothers. The first brother is brother Khoi, brother Vu, and brother Quang. They live in Saigon and they go through rough times in there life.
- No problem!
- Thank you so much!
- Tomorrow was the day of Tet and ha learned that the oldest man will touch the floor first so she made a plan so she can touch the floor first.
- Go back to where you were from HA!
- Ha, can I please ride on your brothers motorcycle?
- Early in the morning of Tet, Ha woke up and touched the floor so nobody will know. She says their is no difference if a girl touches the floor first!
- There home state, Saigon was taken over by people so Ha and her family go to the US. Time passes and they are living in Alabama, they got sponsored by a nice farmer but his wife is not so nice. Ha also now goes to school now.
- At first when Ha was in school, she was always getting teased, bullied, and harassed. But she made two friends and with the help of them(Pem and Sss-ti-van)and Vu Lee, Ha was helped and she was no longer bullied. But now people are jealous that Ha's brother Vu Lee has a motorcycle. They want to ride it.
- At the end of the story they are all happy living in Alabama with the farmer and the wife. Many good things happeed
