- Holden can´t stop thinking of Jane so he goes into the hallway, and he decides that he´ll be leaving to New York right now

- While he was on the train he encounters the mom of Ernest his classmate and decides that he´ll be lying to her about his son an other things because he dosesn´t like Ernest
- Maybe I should go out to the club, I am not tired
- When he was in his room at the hotel he saw in another room two people spitting drinks at each other and he felt aroused so he decided to call Faith Cavendish

- He decided to go to the Lavender room and he met these girls.
- After Holden paid for the girl's drinks, he left the lavender room and remembered some moments he spent with Jane.
- He took a cab to the club and on his way there he asked the driver about the ducks on Central Park but the driver got mad, when he got to the club D.B´s ex-girlfriend Lillian came to talk to him
