- Macbeth meets witches, who foretell of his ascent
- upon arrival at his home, Macbeth is greeted by his wife who has read a letter from Macbeth and is determined to push Macbeth to kill Duncan
- Duncan goes to Macbeth`s castle to celebrate his victory
- To his wife`s wish, he kills Duncan and blames it on his guards
- Macbeth often found murder necessary to protect his title
- Macbeth and his wife lives the rest of his short days in stolen robes, driven mad by guilt, before meeting his end
