  • On the outskirts of New York City.
  • Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the debate on future communication. Today we will be with our winner of the previous debate Horem, and our newcomer Stella. And today the juries will make the public present!
  • Today almost no one thinks of attending a concert without taking a video or taking a photo. Messaging apps and social networks allow us to share that moment while we live it.We will live more experiences than any of our ancestors, only through others.
  • Interpersonal communication may disappear in the future. We are more connected than ever, we talk with friends and family all over the world, and we have more and more tools to hide the distance ... in return, this technology makes us avoid face-to-face conversation, basic for the social relationships of beings humans.
  • In the future we will know a lot about you before talking to you.
  • But this can be a negative and dangerous thing.
  • In the future, communication with robots will grow. The most sophisticated robots already communicate verbally and non-verbally in a way that is consistent with the conversation they have. And they will increasingly be able to read human body expressions and interpret the tone of voice to respond appropriately.
  • But is this really the case or are they adopting human capacities and therefore replacing us? Where is the limit of the abilities of these gadgets? As the robotization of the world becomes more real, the debate grows around how our society is going to adapt to the machine revolution. Also, let's not forget that they are going to see a lot of unemployment. Robots can replace the work of many.
  • Stella is going to win.
  • Horem has a good point but he doesn't convince me.
