Texte du Storyboard

  • Macduff's army arrives at Dunsinane. Macbeth confesses that he does not want to fight as he is already guilty of killing MacDuff's whole family.
  • Turn, hellhound, turn!
  • Of all men else I have avoided thee. But get thee back. My soul is too much charged with blood of thine already.
  • Macbeth and MacDuff begin to fight. Macbeth believes that MacDuff is wasting his time as he can't be killed by anyone born from a woman. Macbeth feels a false sense of security as he believes that he cannot be harmed.
  • I have no words. My voice is in my sword. Thou bloodier villain than terms can give thee out!
  • Thou losest labor. As easy mayst thou the intrenchant air with thy keen sword impress as make me bleed. Let fall thy blade on vulnerable crests; I bear a charmed life. which must not yield to one of woman born.
  • MacDuff confesses that he was cut out of his mother's womb before she was able to bear him naturally.
  • Despair thy charm, and let the angel whom thou still hast served tell thee, Macduff was from his mother's womb untimely ripped.
  • Macbeth begins to worry over the prophecy. He refuses to fight out of fear.
  • Accursed be that tongue tells me so, for it hath cowed my better part of man!
  • Macduff calls Macbeth a coward and says that if he does not fight him, he would be mocked across Scotland if he surrenders. He would be "put in a freak show" mocked for being a tyrant.
  • Then yield thee, coward, and live to be the show and gaze o'th'time.
  • "Come see the tyrant"
  • Macbeth refuses to surrender. Once again a slave to ambition, he dies.
