- Malachi is confused.
- Malachi’s love of School Buses
- Malachi is Overstimulated.
- Malachi is trying to understand what the teacher is lecturing over. The teacher tends to talk with her hands and make gestures, but Malachi has a hard time understanding these gestures, which in turn make it hard to understand his teacher.
- The perfect order.
- Malachi is super excited about his school trip, but he is more excited about the bus ride there. Malachi can tell you anything and everything about the many different kinds of buses there are.
- Not Sensitive.
- With unscheduled playtime in the classroom, Malachi does not know what to do with himself. The classroom is full of “chaos” in Malachi’s eyes and he feels overstimulated. This causes a meltdown.
- Malachi does not like Loud Music.
- Malachi will tend to put his blocks in a specific order. If anyone messes with this order, it may result in an attitude change or a meltdown.
- Malachi tends to not feel cold or hot much. There was a time where he put his hand on a hot burner, and did not immediately feel the pain that came from touching the burner.
- Malachi is at a party where they have a DJ playing loud music. This is triggering his anxiety because he does not like loud sounds. He tries to get away from the noise by covering his ears.
