THE GOOD SAMARITAN
(Luke 10:25-37)
THE MAN IS ATTACKED BY BANDITS
THE PRIEST
THE LEVITE
THE GOOD SAMARITAN
TAKEN TO THE INN
A lawyer wanting to justify himself asked Jesus. And who is my neighbor? which Jesus replied with the story of the Good Samaritan.
A man on the road the Jericho is attacked by bandits. He is stripped of his clothing, beaten and left half-dead.
A priest, also walking on the road to Jericho saw the man. Instead of helping he walked on the opposite side of the road and continued on his path.
Likewise a Levite passed the man but also continued on his path on the other side of the road.
The Samaritan took the man to an Inn where he gave the Inn keeper two two denarii and promised he would repay him any money he spent on the man.
Inn
Take this man in and take care of him; and when I come back, I will repay you whatever more you spend on him.
And who is my neighbor?
