- It was around 1928 when Wallis Simpson met Lady Furness. Lady Furness was also the mistress of Edward, the Duke of Westminister. It was on January 10, 1931, when Wallis Simpson and Prince Edward were introduced at Burrough court.
- King George V dies and the Duke ascends to the throne
- It was then by 1934 when Wallis Simpson would become the mistress of the Duke of Westminister
- The Abdication Crisis Begins Cementing
- Prince Edward and Wallis Simpson vacation together
- King Edward VIII Abdicates the Throne to Marry Wallis Simpson
- George V dies and Edward ascends to the throne
- The abdication crisis begins due to it being cleared that the duke wanted to marry Wallis
- Now King Edward then abdicted the throne to marry Wallis Simpson
