- What should I teach them today?
- Oh hi there, I was just thinking what to teach you guys today.
- I have a can of metal fillings and another one with sand.
- Hey, lets learn how to separate a mixture using magnets
- Well, there are some precautions while doing this expirement
- You shouldn't wear any metal objects or have them near you because the magnet could attract that!!
- Or I could get fired, but lets stay on topic
- So, let's get started. You will need a magnet and a different container to separate the mixture
- But I don't know if I have a magnet. Let me go check
- At His House
- Noooooo!!!!!! I don't have a magnet
- At The Science Lab
- I ..I don't have the magnet, but i can still teach you the procedure
- So, the first thing to do is hover the magnet over the mixture
- Then the magnet attracts the metal substance but leaves the nonmetal substance behind
- Finally, you will put the metal substance into another container (not necessary)
- You usually use this method to separate a mixture with a substance that can attract to metal
- This was my lesson on separating mixtures using magnetism. BY!!!
