- The knight spent months searching for Merlin. He searched all the woods trying to find the wizard.
- After a long time in which the knight grew weaker and weaker, he found Merlin. He was under a tree, when the knight saw him he immediately spoke to him asking for his help.
- After finding Merlin the knight explains what happens to his armor. Merlin helps the knight eat using squirrels and rabbits.
- The knight spent the next few days with Merlin. The magician taught him about life.
- After so long away from his family, the gentleman began to miss them. Merlin told him to send a letter to his son using a bird.
