- Good morning class. For today's lesson, is about Motion. I believe that I told you to make an advance reading for that.
- After explaining what DISTANCE is all about, Mrs. Tiangson shows what DISPLACEMENT is about.

- Distance is the actual length covered by an object. It is a scalar quantity as it only has magnitude. The SI Unit of distance is meter (m).
- Now, who can tell me what is Distance... Daryl, can you stand up and tell to the class.
- Yes you are right Darry! Now lets learn about displacement. DISPLACEMENT is the shortest path travelled by an object. It is a vector quantity. It has both magnitude as well as direction. Its SI Unit is also metre (m).
