- George had an above average intelligence, but had a handicap radio that was permanently in his ear.
- Hazel was essentially perfect, meaning without handicap but could only think in very short bursts of thoughts.
- George can't stop thinking about their son that is in jail, who is quite abnormal but the sound in his head stopped his thought.
- Hazel wanted George to lay down on the couch so his handicap would stop bothering him. She didn't think it would be a problem for hi to not be equal for a little while.
- 14 Year old Harrison escapes from jail, he is not handicapped and highly intelligent and considered dangerous an was seven feet tall
- Harrison feels he is the emperor and people should listen to him and do what he says and stomps his feet.
- Harrison and his empress listen to music and vibe as their heartbeats beat to the music.
- I think Kurt Vonnegut was trying to make a point that fitting in is not the best way to go and can actually be a burden. The scenes I chose shows how even though everyone is the same in the eyes of the government, there are those who are different and because of that treated different.
