Texte du Storyboard

  • Peacefully, the warriors sleep in the Mead Hall. The silence was almost deafening. In their dreams, the unsuspecting soldiers slept curled up and peaceful like babies with pacifiers in a cradle. Their dreams were filled with images of a giant whale of a monster, Grendel, which they had just killed.
  • The massive mother of Grendel with her piercingly sharp fangs descended like a storm upon the unsuspecting peacefully sleeping sleeping soldiers. Fire raged in her eyes. She moved ferociously intent on bloody revenge. Her movements were jerky adding to her ogre like appearance. Although, she operates with military precision raiding the hall.
  • You will die!
  • There is a horrific magical quality. She vengefully grabs Grendel's claw. The claw alone is not enough to satisfy her all consuming need for revenge. The fire in her heart must be fed with blood. She murderously abducts a thane , adhering her to the ethics of blood.
  • The thane awakens , terrified in the sharp talons of the dragon. He screams with power of an army, awakening all of the warriors in the hall. Faster than the speed of light, the warriors grab their swords and rush towards her.
  • Help!!
  • Beowulf was gone during the raid, he is summoned with urgency by Hrothgar, who is broken and despondent in grief over the loss of his most trusted advisor, Aeschere. Words barely came out of his mouth.
  • She took my trusted advisor Aeschere and Gredel's arm.
  • Virtually on his knees , Hrothgar begs Beowulf to travel the lands and seek the massive mother of the Grendel. He describes the loathsome , swampy, infested woods where her mystical lair lies.
  • Wise sir, do not grieve, it is always better to avenge dear ones than to indulge in mourning .
