- Region 2 is rich in folk arts and crafts. The first is, the Yaru gallery which is known as one of the famous cotemporary art in Batanes. Yaru gallery is a five year old art shop where local and tourist could check out paintings and other artworks of any of the Ivatan artist.
- That's right! Another great artwork in Batanes is their traditional handicrafts such as Yuvuk which is a farming container used for handling or transporting farm products. Kayani is also one of their artwork wherein it is an all-weather sleeveless jacket that they use in working in the farm in order for them to cools their body in hot working days and keeps warm on rainy or cold days.
- Wow, amazing! Their arts are very useful. they also have the what we call vacul which is also an protective gear. Next is the vuvud wherein it is purposely in keeping their jewelries.
