- First Interphase. Interphase has three steps, G1, S, and G2
- G1 is the start of the cycle. In this step, the cell simple grows
- This is the first checkpoint
- Next is S phase. In this phase, the DNA of the cell is being replicated
- Last is G2 phase. In this phase the cell is preparing itself for mitosis.
- This is the second checkpoint
- Mitosis
- Next, Mitosis. Mitosis is the part of the cycle where the cell starts dividing. It is broken into 4 parts.
