- Alfredo Salazar is a 30-year old bachelor who's engaged for 3 years to a woman name Esperanza. While Alfredo is wondering about the chaos he created in his love life after hearing Carmen and Don Julia's discussion regarding his relationship with Esperanza. During a trip, he met the innocent and naïve Julia Salas, with whom he fell in love.
- FALLING ACTION
- Don Julian, Alfredo's father together with him visited his friend named Judge Del Valle. He has a sister-in-law who was mistakenly known by Alfredo as Judge Del Valle's wife. That girl is Julia Salas. They often go to Judge Del Valle's house, where his father will play chess with his friend. Therefore, he has the chance to have a conversation with Julia.
- DENOUEMENT
- As the time passed by, Alfredo fell in love with Julia. She did not have any idea that Alfredo is already engaged to someone and because of that, she still choose to have quality time with him. He knew that she was going back to her hometown, because of his fear losing her, he decided to confess his feelings toward her. Day passed by and the two met, he was so shocked when she mentioned his coming wedding with his fiancé. At this point he is struggling on what is the best thing to do, is it to do the right thing? Or to do what he wants?
- Alfredo returned to his home and found out that Esperanza was having a conversation with her friend about loyalty and faithfulness. Esperanza was so confused about Alfredo. Later on, she confessed to him that she knew about his affair with Julia and encouraged him to cancel the wedding and just don't think about what people will say, but the wedding goes ahead as it was scheduled.
- Near Julia’s native town, Alfred, after eight years, is sent to some work duty. On his visit, he feels nostalgic and cannot resist his lust for Julia and soon finds an excuse to meet her. Julia is still single, which forces Alfred to dream about starting a new life with her; however, he soon realizes that everything is not the same as it was before. Julia completely changed. She has become a different woman compared to the past.
