Wyoming was the first state to grant Women the right to vote in all elections!
I have the right to vote in Wyoming!!!
1890
By 1900, every state had passed legislation granting married Women the right to keep their own wages and to own property in their own name.
This is the first step to gaining us the right to vote! this is great!
Hey! We don't ALL have the right to own land and keep our own money. I thought this was about equality for ever women, not just white women.
The nineteenth Amendment to the Constitution is ratified, ensuring the right of women to vote.
Women fight for the right to be equal to men legally, politically and socially.
As time goes on some of the reasons we are fighting for will change and some will stay the same.
