- On a cool Monday evening everybody knew what was coming for them. People started to prepare a young boy Bobby Martian started to collect rocks. He placed them in his pocket.
- Climax
- There’s a tradition that the village does its called the lottery. June 26 is when they start the lottery at the beginning of the day. Men and boys started to come up and draw for there family. Then janeys went up to draw.
- Falling action
- After everyone draw a paper they started to open them up. The johnsons went first and then the Vaughan’s went. After everyone opened them the Hutchinson went and THEY GO THE BLACK DOT!!!!!
- Resolution
- Tessies jaw dropped and she was so anxious. She was saying things like “that’s not fair!”. Mr.Summers told them to grab one more paper and then the will see who it is
- Bill, Tessie,Nancy, Bill and, jr. all got a paper and stood back in the crowd. Then all of them opened them and then tessie got the black dot. Mr.Summers said to everyone “Let’s finish fast”
- Then they were upon her
